Organized by the Institute for Geopolitics, Economy and Security (IGES), the third generation of the Geopolitical Academy will commence on March 24, 2026 and conclude on April 16, 2026, taking place in Sarajevo.  Through carefully designed educational modules, participants will enhance their knowledge and gain a deeper understanding of complex issues in global, regional, and local politics.

The Academy will cover three core thematic areas:

  • Projection of geopolitical power
  • Geopolitics of the 20th and 21st centuries and its impact on the Balkans
  • Bosnia and Herzegovina in the contemporary world order

The objective of the program is to provide participants with advanced knowledge that will enable them to better contextualize the position of Bosnia and Herzegovina within global and regional politics, as well as to gain a clearer understanding of how global and regional political developments influence domestic political processes. Participation in the Academy also contributes to a more objective understanding of politics in general and encourages a more analytical and solution-oriented approach to political challenges.
